The sleeping environment is the ONLY overlooked piece of
furniture in a hotel that is not regularly disinfected.
The PB-001 compliments the full range of bedding
disinfection technology. The process enables the disinfecting of the pillows,
blankets and duvets without the use of liquid or chemicals.
The dryer system removes the build up of dust, debris and
impurities and begins the initial heat disinfecting process.
Once removed from the dryer, the items MUST BE disinfected
with the MK-2+ UVC equipment.
WHAT IS THE PB001
The PB-001 is a mobile commercial dryer unit that can be pushed from room to room in a Hotel for the purpose of disinfecting the Blankets/Duvets/Pillows and spare pillows & blankets that are stored in every hotel cupboard.
There is currently no way of disinfecting these items on a day to day basis, therefore, these items are ordinarily cleaned once or twice per year. The commercial dryer has been fitted with wheels and a handle to ensure full mobility around the property.
In order to DISINFECT the pillows and blankets, the dryer MUST be coupled with the MK-2+ PRO device.
HOW DOES THE PB001 WORK
The machinery is wheeled from room to room, where the operator will place the pillows and blankets in to the commercial dryer for a 10 minute period to remove the accumulated dust and debris from the items. In this period of time, the blankets and pillows will be subjected to intense heat which will begin the disinfection process.
After 10 minutes, the items shall be removed from the dryer and placed on the bed. Once placed flat on the bed, you will then use the MK-2+ PRO medical device to disinfect the item with germicidal UVC.
Upon completion, the spare pillows and blankets can be placed in the specially designed bags and placed back in the cupboard.
